Rays

A poem by Mediana Stan, illustrated by Szitai György-Ferenc, translated by Rafael Manory

Mr. Snail was calculating
The diameter of a circle.
The generating radius comes
From the sun-shaped dandelion.
It sticks into the pistil
And becomes a ball that's still.

Pi times four divided by three,
Sparkling rays are flying free!
Multiplied by r to the cube
Look at the sphere up the tube!
