•  Snowdrops

A poem by Mediana Stan, translated by Rafael Manory, illustrated by Liviu Boar

    Green girl, with sunny eye,
I wonder, isn't the snow too high
    For your tiny boots?
    While walking in the woods,
At the footpath she would stare
The snow melts under her glare.

Lots of snowdrops pop up like gems
Mind your step and don't squash them!
